For years, we operated as Aperture Glass Ltd, delivering precision-engineered, architectural glazing across the UK. But as we evolved, we realized our brand needed to reflect more than just "openings." I wanted it to reflect my heritage, and our unique philosophy on how people should experience the world from inside their homes.
Welcome to Cape Glass Ltd. This is absolutely not a company closure and a new start up. We are changing our name and vibe, leaning into my Cape heritage.
Our story begins in Cape Town, a city defined by its dramatic relationship between architecture and the elements. I grew up between the rugged peaks of Table Mountain and around the Western Cape. I learned quickly that a window is never just a window — it is a frame for your view. In South Africa, "indoor-outdoor living" isn't a design trend; it’s a way of life. We have brought that Cape Spirit to the UK, combining the warmth and scale of African coastal design with the rigorous engineering required for the British climate.

Aperture Glass Ltd designs, supplies and installs beautiful, high performance, slim frame steel and aluminium door and window systems. We offer minimal frame sliding doors, casement doors, pivot doors, French doors, windows, oriel windows, bespoke glass boxes, roof lights, glass floors, structural glass and balustrades.
Aperture Glass Ltd now also proudly design, supply and install the elegant, thermally broken slim frame steel system: Secco Sistemi.
Aperture Glass Ltd is a relatively small company, able to offer excellent value for money. We are based in Wooburn Green and Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Aperture Glass Ltd primarily serves West London, Greater London, West of London, Home Counties, Beaconsfield, Reading, Marlow, Oxford, Henley-on Thames, Gerrard's Cross to name a few areas. But we don't mind traveling further afield for the right project.
We promise our clients a personal, hands-on experience. By being small we can give our time and attention to individual projects and clients, be highly effective and be quick to respond. We are very experienced in what we do. We do things the right way, and the safe way. We carefully pick which projects to take on. Aperture Glass holds our client's hands from the beginning during the design stage, right through to the end with finishing snags. You will not be passed from one department to the next.
Some of our aluminium systems can be turned round quickly (around 2-3 weeks) when using standard colours. So try us if you have challenging time frames!
Aperture Glass also offers a glass consultancy service. We offer advice to clients who are planning a residential renovation project. We also work closely with returning Contractors and Architects, who may need advice and assistance with tricky glass projects.
